The greatest bachelorette party ideas are those well adjusted to the participants’ style; not everybody wants to get wild and naughty, so, no matter how much you long for a worm in your tequila, you’ll have to postpone the binge drinking session when you’re planning a night out with your (slightly) geekish friends.

Very likely your guests would like to go somewhere where there are new and fascinating (for them) things to learn, and, while it’s unlikely you could rent a room in a museum, there are various types of stores that may be willing to let you in for a night for a decent amount, if you promise to clean up the mess. Look for offbeat venues, like book or comics stores.

If you know that some of the guests absolutely cannot stand this type of entertainment, then invite them only to a restaurant for dinner (and politely explain the situation, they probably don’t want to come anyway).

And if everything else fails… have a D&D game stashed aside for emergency situations.
